On October 10, 2025, Vice President Yuan Mindao of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) met with the "ROK-China Ties" Buddhist Culture Delegation led by Qu Huan, President of the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange.

Vice President Yuan extended a warm welcome to the delegation and commended the Korea China Association for Cultural Exchange for its long-standing contributions to enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the peoples of China and the Republic of Korea (ROK). The CPAFFC is ready to collaborate with Korean friendly organizations to conduct more extensive, in-depth, and diversified people-to-people exchanges. These efforts aim to build more bridges for people-to-people engagement, practical cooperation, cultural exchanges, and youth friendship. Such initiatives will further promote the strategic partnership between the two countries, advancing the relationship to new heights and fostering stronger connectivity and emotional bonds between the two peoples.
Qu Huan remarked that the cultural exchange between the ROK and China, particularly in Buddhism, has a long history and serves as a key link in the broader cultural exchanges between the two countries. The ROK side is willing to work closely with China to further strengthen cultural exchanges, deepen mutual understanding, and promote the healthy development of ROK-China relations.
