On October 13, 2025, Vice President Lu Xiangdong of the Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC) met with the Chadian Public Diplomacy Delegation during their visit to China. Both sides held in-depth discussions on topics of mutual concern, including China-Chad relations, China-Africa cooperation, and people-to-people exchanges and friendly cooperation between the two countries.

Vice President Lu welcomed the delegation to the CPAFFC and noted that, in recent years, under the strategic leadership of the two heads of state, China-Chad relations have been elevated to a strategic partnership. Political mutual trust has deepened, and cooperation in various fields has yielded fruitful results, bringing tangible benefits to the two peoples. The CPAFFC is committed to working with the Chadian side to build more bridges for mutually beneficial cooperation in areas such as culture, youth, and subnational government exchanges, and to promote mutual learning and stronger connections between the two peoples.
Halime Ali, head of the delegation and Chairman of the Chadian High Council for Media and Audiovisual, praised the CPAFFC for its long-standing contributions to strengthening the friendship between the peoples of China, Africa, and Chad. He expressed his willingness to closely cooperate with the CPAFFC, using media exchanges to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples and further advance the development of friendly relations between Chad and China.
Xu Yan, Deputy Director-General of the Department of Asian and African Affairs of the CPAFFC, was present at the meeting.
